Simon Robinson B.Vet.Med., MRCVS: Practice Principal

Simon graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 1984. After working in mixed general practice for 10 years, Simon joined the clinic in 1996. In April 2010 he purchased the clinic.

Simon is first interested in being an all round general practitioner, but particularly enjoys the surgical and dentistry side of the clinic.

In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, skiing and flies radio control model aeroplanes and tries to keep tabs on his 2 sons Oliver and Benedict.

Francesca Basterebbe, DVM, MRCVS, GPCert (SAS): Clinical Director

Francesca joined the Strathmore team in January 2010.

She studied Veterinary Medicine in Milan, Italy, but also spent 1 year in León, Spain on an exchange program. After graduating in 2006, she worked in referral and general practices in Spain and Italy before moving to the UK.

In the UK, Francesca completed an internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists, which she finished in October 2009.

Before starting at Strathmore Veterinary Clinic, Francesca spent 2 months travelling in Australia. She is keenly interested in surgery, orthopaedics and soft tissue. 

Francesca recently completed her ESVPS (European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies) GP Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Francesca has a cat called Zana who she rescued as a feral kitten however now she is a extremely purry monster!

Siobhan Westbrook, MRCVS, VetMB, GPCert (FM)

Siobhan joined the Strathmore team in November 2009.

Siobhan graduated in 2007 from Cambridge University. After two years working in mixed practice in North Wales, treating everything from horses to guinea pigs, she decided to concentrate on small animal work.

She keeps up to date with current advances by reading veterinary journals, and attending courses such as the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress, which included lectures by internationally recognised specialists on a variety of subjects including feline medicine and animal behaviour.

Siobhan recently completed her ESVPS (European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies) GP Certificate in Feline Medicine.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her dog, Milo and riding her horse.

Giacomo Taglietti, DVM, MRCVS

Giacomo joined Strathmore team in November 2015.

Giacomo studied Veterinay medicine in Milan, Italy, but also spent one year in Lisbon in Portugal on an exchange program. After graduating in 2006 he went on to live and work in Rome, Lisbon and Milan.

Giacomo is interested in internal medicine, physiotherapy and chiropractics.

In his spare time Giacomo loves to travel, play rugby, read, write and ride his bike.

 Consuelo Alonzi DVS, MRCVS

Consueo has been part of the Strathmore team since November 2016, after registering with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

She studied Veterinary medicine in Teramo, Italy. After graduating in 2013, she worked in a 24 hour small animal hospital in Italy before moving to the UK.

Her interests are internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostic medicine.

She has two dogs called Sherry and Micky and a cat called Champagne.

Consuelo love to travel, listening to music and exploring the English countyside in her free time.
