Many pets from the age of 6 or 7 years suffer from dental disease.

This is often unnoticed by owners as the signs are progressive and often variable.

The signs to look for are:

  • Bad breath (halitosis)
  • Worn or broken teeth
  • Yellow or brown deposits on the teeth (placque)
  • Pain on eating or disinterest in food

Dental hygiene can be easily managed through home management including tooth brushing, dental diet and dental chews.

We have full dentistry facilities, identical to those of human dentists, combining ultrasonic scaler, high speed dental drill, polisher, and a water wash and air flush system.  In January 2016 we purchased a dental x-ray unit, which has enabled us to do an increased range of work on out patients.
